Nevertheless, those weeks have been quite rich in geographical imaginations. The Nova cinema (http://www.nova-cinema.org/) organised the pleinopenair in various places of Brussels mainly touched by the International Development Plan (PDI) which is going theoretically to transform dramatically some parts of the town (Molembeek, Midi, Tour&Taxis, etc.) with a gentrification process quite difficult to predict. On the shores of the canal there was Bruxelles-le-bain, which created the Belgium version of an urban beach. Festivals around the Country transformed for few days empty fields in temporary micro-cities full of (young) people and music.
I am just back from one of them - Pukkelpop (www.pukkelpop.be) - which started the bright side of my summer with three days of good music, sun and holiday!
